i have posted both Teebs and shlohmo in the past and this combo of the two is amazing. It is a more chilled out version of Wen uuu with more reverb and guitar layered on top.

Definitely worth a listen for any shlohmo fans

NEW song! This is the first full length song Jai Paul has released since BTSTU 2 years ago.

It doesnt disappoint, great song and a great taster of the 2012 album which is on the way.

Lia Ices - Wish You Were Here

Amazing version of Pink Floyd’s “Wish you were here”. Lia Ices is with the same label as Bon Iver - Jagjaguwar. She completely transforms this song to something just as great as the original-with her emotionally driven and experimental pop.

Bonobo - Prelude ( Lapalux’s finger on the tape remix )

Straight off Bonobo’s “Black sands Remixed”. This song has been transformed completely with a lot of add-ins of tape crackle; which seems to weirdly work even though those sounds were the reason we moved to CDs. Interesting chopping up of the song- worth a listen.

Shigeto - Huron River Drive

New track form this great producer. You can see influences of Bonobo and maybe even Nujabes in this track as he uses a lot of different jazz intruments and frequent drum beats to bring across the full effect of his music.

Pretty Lights - We must go on

Reminds me of finally moving- old hip hop beat sounds. Another great track from pretty lights.

The Antlers - VCR (the XX cover)

Simple but effective cover of the song by the XX. the cover gives it a feeling that it has all been stripped back to basics. Hard cover to do and they have done it well.

James Vincent McMorrow- Higher Love

Phenomenal cover of the hit from Steve Winwood. Cant wait to see him in a few weeks.

Tenebriated - Coda

Very different and spacy rendition of Bon Iver’s Michicant. Video is really cool looks like it was filmed in somewhere like Chernobyl.

The XX - Open eyes

the first taster of the new album coming out this year. This song suggests they will be leaning more towards the works of Jamie XX in the new album and less like the songs of their first hit album.
